Today, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration published the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking for the National Drug and Alcohol Testing Clearinghouse for commercial truck drivers. The proposed rule seeks to establish a drug and alcohol
clearinghouse for all CDL holders, making it easier to determine whether a
truck or bus driver is prohibited from operating a CMV for failing to comply
with federal drug and alcohol regulations, including mandatory testing.
