MTA

Our Mission
The Minnesota Trucking Association (MTA) is a 501 (c) 6 non-profit trade association representing the interests of the state’s motor carrier industry since 1932. With almost 700 member companies, the MTA is a powerful voice for the industry. Our mission is to provide advocacy, information and services to ensure safe transportation and a successful Minnesota trucking industry.
Staff & Board
The MTA is managed by an association staff of five (including a full-time registered lobbyist), and is governed by a 41-member board representing all aspects of the state's motor carrier industry.
Affliations
The MTA has three affiliated councils that explore industry trends: Maintenance Council, Safety Council, and Registration & Tax Council.The MTA is also the exclusive Minnesota affiliate of the American Trucking Associations (ATA).
